Cape Coral BMX Officers 2011-2012

The By-Laws of Cape Coral BMX call for elections during the Parent Council meeting in September. All officers serve as unpaid volunteers. All officers must submit to and pass a background check by the City of Cape Coral (Jessica Lundsford Law). Congratulations to the new slate of officers for the 2011-2012 year.

 

The officers are:

President: The President is the Chief Executive Officer of the track, presides over meetings, acts as the contact with the Parks and Recreation Department and the President’s signature is required on all checks written from the CCBMX accounts.

Vice President: The Vice President assumes the duties of the President if they are absent. The VP oversees the operation of the Concession Stand and may appoint a concession manager.

Paul Trombley

Track Director: The Track director is the track representative and local spokesman with the state association and the NBL. They are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the track including maintenance, race staffing and insurance. The Track Director may appoint two assistants. The Track Director, assistants or designee MUST be on the track during practice and racing.

Treasurer: The treasurer signs all checks with the president; keeps accurate records of all income and expenses, makes bank deposits nightly after any event, must pay debts promptly and present monthly reports to the Parent Council.

Secretary: The secretary does correspondence for the track, records attendance at Parent Council meetings, provides minutes of the previous meeting at Parent Council, and records minutes at meetings.

Registrar/Clerk of Course: The registrar is responsible for new rider registration, moto-writing on race days, reporting race results to SSA, and the renewal of NBL licenses for riders.

Teresa Linn

Public Relations: The public relations officer promotes the CCBMX Association, is the point of contact for news media, prepares media releases when needed, produces the monthly newsletter and maintains the capecoralbmx.org website.
